Slightly milder than other acids. Found in apples, peaches, plums, and other fruits. A good choice for adjusting "hot-climate" white grapes of the fruity variety.
One teaspoon per gallon will increase acidity by 0.1%.
Malic Acid lowers pH and is a little less tart then tartaric acid.
