Our substrate is a mix of organic coconut coir, two grades of vermiculite to ensure aeration, gypsum, and Azomite to provide mineral content for your mushrooms. We’ve worked for years to perfect this mixture and have landed on a recipe sure to give you large abundant flushes every grow. This substrate is ideal for manure or dung loving mushrooms.

This product is sterilized and ready to use, sealed in a mushroom grow bag with a .2 micron filter. Just mix with your colonized spawn and you’re ready to go! 5lbs is enough substrate mix to top dress multiple bags of spawn or to create 1 monotub when mixed with 5lb or 3lbs of spawn in a medium to large container; feel free to message us to confirm which size for what size tub.
