Blood Orange Puree is prepared from Blood Orange Juice and Orange Pulp.
Commercially sterilized and containing no preservatives, you can add this puree directly to your primary or secondary fermenter to flavor beer, mead, or wines.
As the puree contains no seeds, add 10-15% less puree as you would fresh/ frozen fruit.
One 49 oz. can will make 1 gallon of fruit wine.
Make sure to never boil the puree as it can create some off flavors.
Sterile Blood Orange puree can be added directly to the primary or secondary fermenter.
Blood Orange has a distinct, sweet flavor with a hint of raspberry.
The blood orange pulp adds a nice texture that compliments the bright flavors.
The product contains no preservatives and no additives
One can per five gallons will give you a slight blood orange flavor, and adding two cans per five gallons will give you a more pronounced flavor.
This works great with beer, wine or mead.
